The Goal

WeBounty is an online community for starting, exploring, and supporting crowdfunded bounties. Previous to this redesign, weBounty directed their messaging to those users who wanted to drive large-scale changes in their community. In this new iteration, I was told to also appeal to audience members who would be willing to create bounties for friends or family to accomplish self-improvement or personal goals. Additionally, there existed a need to inform users of the language of the site and how it worked, so there were many opportunities to educate the users and create a clear call-to-action for them to get started creating their own bounties.

The Solution

A banner image was chosen to appeal to users on both a community level AND a personal level.

A 3-step process was illustrated to give an example of a successful bounty.

An additional FAQ section here would be able to answer follow-up questions a user might have about the platform.

Since more of an emphasis was to be put on creating bounties rather than viewing existing bounties, the featured section was de-emphasized towards the bottom.

Finally, a carousel of testimonials was put at the bottom of the page to account for trust marketing.
